The Academy of Strings Foundation


Myra Gerlock is a native of the Tri-cities. She is a graduate of East Tennessee State University. Mrs. Gerlock is a Registered Nurse who now is a full time mother and home school teacher. She is also active as a volunteer for the local Red Cross. Her interests include travel, the arts, reading and family. The Gerlock's are the parents of five children, three of whom are active students of The Academy of Strings. Dr. & Mrs. Gerlock have been actively participating in The Academy of Strings for the last 6 years.
